Introduction
SheetNotes Pro is designed with privacy in mind. This add-on works entirely inside Google Sheets and does not collect or transmit user data externally.
What data do we access
SheetNotes Pro accesses only:
- The active Google Spreadsheet where the add-on is installed
- The selected cell and sheet metadata needed to attach notes
This access is required solely to provide note-taking functionality.
How data is stored
- Notes are stored inside the same Google spreadsheet
- Data is saved either as native Google Sheet notes or within a hidden sheet inside the document
- No data is stored on external servers
What we do NOT do
- We do not access Google Drive files
- We do not access other spreadsheets
- We do not collect personal information
- We do not track users
- We do not use analytics or third-party services
- We do not sell or share data
Third-party services
SheetNotes Pro does not use any third-party services, APIs, or external requests.
Data security
All data remains within Google’s infrastructure and is protected by Google’s standard security policies.
